Brief:

Plan a 2-day teambuilding experience for core staff. The client requested a complete change from previous experiences, involving an outdoor adventure and a competitive element, whilst supporting specific criteria for outcomes within the team.

What we did:

Our proposal was designed to take the team outside of its comfort zone, whilst ensuring the event was fully inclusive of all abilities. It was important that all activities and tasks were structured around a programme of objectives and measures, set by the client.

Hunky Dory designed and delivered a 2-day ‘competitive challenge’ involving a tipi adventure at a waterside location in Leicestershire, facilitated by one of our training experts. We included a day’s outdoor activities at a local centre including shooting, off-road experiences and team development activities. We managed to source a waterside rural location with facilities, and hired in luxury tipi’s. A Bear Grylls style survival expert took the team through some tricky techniques and challenges, ending with barbeque and evening games and music around the campfire. Day 2 involved dragon boat racing at the site and the losing team were equipped with camping facilities to cook an al fresco lunch.
